Leon Natta-Nelson was born and has lived in Molineux, Constituency Seven, all his life.
He is the second child of both his parents. He attended the Molineux Primary School (now the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School), then he moved on to the Cayon High School. Leon attended the St. Kitts Business College which was founded and operated by the late Washington Archibald before he attended the CUNY Medgar Evers Campus where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Leon has always been a community man. He has organized several community events in sport and community development. The first basketball league which was held in Molineux, the Eastern Football League, and the Bush Football League in Ottley’s were organized by Leon. Mr. Leon Natta-Nelson not only organized these sporting events, he also played and represented his community team. He also was a member of the St. Kitt-Nevis National Basketball youth team.
Leon has always made himself available to his fellow villagers. He has assisted various people in their business endeavors and motivated many young people in their college and career decisions.
At a very young age, Leon was exposed to politics. He understood very early that political involvement means service to God and country. He has always been a staunch supporter of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) which he recognizes as a significant and invaluable contributor to the development of our Federation and its people. Leon believes that the SKNLP has been the helping hand his constituency has always needed. He is confident that Labour has provided the opportunities that have empowered him and many other youth of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Leon Natta-Nelson is a true community man and a true leader. He stands ready to rebuild the image, the infrastructure and indomitable spirit that defines our country, St. Kitts and Nevis, and his constituency. He is a stalwart who stands up for truth, for justice and for liberty.
