Over the past seven years our country has had to face severe political crisis and a serious global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The fallout from the pandemic has grievously affected the lives of many of our people as many have lost jobs and thus have no income to support your family. The Labour Party is cognizant that the first order of business for a new government will be to restore stability and good governance to our country and work swiftly to raise the standard of living, address the cost of living and bring hope and opportunities to our people, especially our young people. We notice that the effects of the economic recession caused by the pandemic will continue for some time and as a responsible and caring government we will immediately commit the necessary resources for the highest quality management of this health, political and economic crisis.
